Commando® Products Warranty
One (1) Year Limited Warranty Commando Products, Inc. (CPI) warrants to the original purchaser of each new product manufactured by CPI that such product is free from defects in material and workmanship. CPI agrees, at its option, to repair, replace, refund the purchase price or furnish a new part in exchange for any part of any product which under normal use, for which the product was intended, discloses such defect within one (1) year of this warranty, dated from the day of purchase by the original purchaser. This warranty applies only to original purchaser and does not include finish, packaging or other non-functional parts. This warranty does not extend to any product which has been subjected to miss-use, neglect, accident, improper use or installation or use in violation of instructions furnished by CPI, nor does it extend to units which have been repaired or altered outside our factory, nor to accessories used therewith not of our own manufacture. Upon purchase of the product, the purchaser is responsible for checking the product for damage. Any shipping damage should be referred to the carrier. All claims of defect must be made in writing, by letter addressed to: Commando Products, Inc. P.O. Box 290 Grandview, Missouri 64030 Your letter must include the model number of the product on which claim is made, the date, place and proof of purchase, such as a copy of a sales receipt, and a detailed description of the basis of the warranty claim. No warranty card is furnished and you must supply the foregoing information. Do not return any product to us until requested to do so. Any returned item must have prior written authorization. Unexpected returns are greatly delayed in handling. These delays can be avoided by writing in advance, furnishing the necessary information. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY - COMMANDO PRODUCTS, INC'S. SOLE LIABILITY IS TO REMEDY ANY DEFECT IN THE PRODUCT OCCURRING DURING THE ONE YEAR PERIOD OF THIS WARRANTY. COMMANDO PRODUCTS, INC., SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO COST OF TRANSPORTATION, PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR DAMAGE RESULTING FROM IMPROPER OR CARELESS INSTALLATION OR USAGE NOT INTENDED BY THE MANUFACTURER.THE REMEDIES OF THE PURCHASER SET FORTH HEREIN ARE EXCLUSIVE, AND THE LIABILITY OF COMMANDO PRODUCTS, INC. WITH RESPECT TO ANY CONTRACT OR SALE, OR ANYTHING DONE IN CONNECTION THEREWITH, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, UNDER ANY WARRANTY, OR OTHERWISE, SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT OR ITS PART UPON WHICH SUCH LIABILITY IS BASED. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. Commando Products, Inc., reserves the right to make any changes deemed necessary or desirable in its products without advance notice or incurring any obligation to make like changes in previously manufactured or sold products. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
